Entrepreneurship Leader Babson College among Sponsors of Miami’s April eMerge Americas Event

Babson College, the #1 ranked school for entrepreneurship for 26 years, is participating in  eMerge Americas taking place at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami on April 29-30 as a Diamond Sponsor.

Babson will offer a Launch Pad Session focusing on "Launching & Scaling Premier Innovative Ventures” and taking place Monday, April 29, 1:00-1:30 p.m.

“What sets apart truly successful ventures is their ability to pinpoint a widespread customer need and scale their operations effectively to address this. We will learn firsthand from entrepreneurs who navigated this challenge successfully. Participants will walk away with compelling stories of how organic growth occurs and practical tools for applying these insights to their own efforts,” said Entrepreneurship Professor and Babson Blended Learning MBA Faculty Director Phillip Kim.

In addition, Babson is participating in a pre-event Competing on Analytics Webinar on April 17 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. with Ken Demma.

The Women, Innovation, Technology (WIT) stage, will be powered by Babson’s Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership. Hear from leading entrepreneurs, investors, and researchers, experience live pitches from founders going after growth capital, and learn how to scale without VC dollars.

Women receive less than 3% of venture capital and the time has come to build a new paradigm. Hear from leading researchers, investors, and entrepreneurs on what it takes to get women funded. See this practical advice executed in two live pitch sessions from successful women founders in the session that follows. You will leave this session with new skills on how to master the funding pitch and a fresh perspective on accessing growth capital.
